Item Description
Built and used by Alexander Klemin at the NYU Guggenheim School of Aeronautics. Mahogany and metal construction. Articulating wings and tail.

Dr Alexander Klemin was a decorated aviation engineer. He was the head of MIT Aeronautics Department early in his career and a founding member of the Institute of Aeronautical Sciences. He helped create and design NYU Guggenheim School of Aeronautics where he experimented with wind tunnels, taught and also became dean of the department.
Condition
the tail has a broken hinge, a weld on the landing gear is broken, small piece of the rear wing tip is missing.
