Fabulous pair of Dasher (Mongolian, 20th-21st C.) watercolor on paper paintings. An informational page on the artist can be found on verso. Denoting Dasher, the artist, having been born in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The landscape and wildlife of the countryside played an important role in the artists inspiration and work. Dasher's comes from artistically talented lineage with his Grandfather having been a talented jeweler.
Following years in Mongolia, Dasher came to America where he continued to paint. "Six of his works were included in the Art League's monthly shows and two of his paintings received awards.
The artist created prints and paintings primarily. This pair of water color paintings fabulously presents depictions of horses in neutral landscapes with fine detail.
The works are chop marked, signed and dated '03 by the artist in the upper right corner.
Also with calligraphy and a chop mark to the mat.
Both are presented matted, within black finished frames and glazed for protection.
Condition: There are some minor surface scratches to the frame finish but overall both are in good form and both present very well overall.
