A fabulous collection of 3 Mid Century Modern (MCM) Scandinavian, Swedish, glazed and silver and gilt inlaid ceramics made for the illustrious Gustavsberg company. The lot includes three ceramic wares made by three different artisans working for the company. The lot includes:
- 1 Sven Jonson (1919-1989) Gustavsberg, blue glazed square form ceramic tray with a central motif embellished with three silver inlaid Swedish crowns to the center. The thickly potted square form tray with rounded corners and shallow walls.
The tray is impressed signed "S Jonson", the series "Laguns" along with the Gustavsberg insignia to the glazed underside. An old, original Gustavsberg / Sweden paper label adorns the underfoot as well. All standing on an unglazed foot ring with four pads for protection.

- Wilhelm Kage (1889-1961) was notably the creative director of Gustavsberg company and designed the Argenta Series produced for the Gustavsberg Factory. Like comparable 'Argenta' series wares by Kage, the current rectangular tray features marvelous mottled teal glaze.
Notably the current tray is part of Willhelm Kage's "WASA 1628" series which features magnificent silver inlaid decoration of the Wasa, which was created following interest in the Wasa, a Swedish warship which had sunken in 1628 on its maiden voyage but was discovered and raised and restored during the 20th Century. The silver inlaid warship features intricately inlaid silver decoration of the warship with all of its rigging and dual masts.
Underfoot, the tray is embellished with silver inlaid series "WASA 1628" along with gilt finished Gustavsberg insignia and the notation the work is part of the "Argenta" series and "Made in Sweden" all to the glazed underfoot. There is also residue from the original paper Gustavsberg / Sweden paper label.
The tray stands on an unglazed foot ring.

- Lastly, a Josef Ekberg (Swedish, 1877-1945), whom worked for Gustavsberg from 1877-1945, iridescent glazed ceramic Sunflower bowl. The exquisite iridescent green glazed bowl of floral form with a scalloped mouth rim. The glazed ceramic bowl is enhanced with gilt finish to the mouth trim and a sunflower decoration to the interior center.

Condition: Wear with minute losses to the silver finish to the Wasa trim and the Sven Jonson three Swedish crowns which is minor and commensurate with age and light handling. Overall this is an exquisite collection of mid century modern finely glazed ceramic wares for the Gustavsberg company.
