Pair of Quimper Ceramic Vases, circa 1875-1903.
Marked underfoot.
Standing on a circular foot ring rising to the fan form vase with scalloped trim edge. Painted with figural and floral motifs in polychromatic palette.
Together with a fabulous Porquier Beau Quimper polychrome decorated ceramic dish with scalloped trim with heraldic shield to the ribbon decorated border. The center cavetto depicting a maid carrying a basket of fish with a beached sailboat on a sandy coastal landscape.
Marked in underglaze blue underfoot.
Two labels underfoot denote the dish had an original cost of $6,875. and is Porquier Beau, ca. 1880. The second label denotes the dish as having a "VERY RARE RIBBON BORDER".

Condition: Glaze chips and wear to the pair of fan form vases, along with glaze losses to the trim edge of the dish seen around the dish in numerous spots. Wear is commensurate with age and handling and despite wear all items present handsomely.
