Item Description
A finely crafted antique, Porquier-Beau Quimper armorial, ceramic, two handled platter, circa 1875-1903.
The serving dish or platter has an elongated elongated form, with scalloped rim.
The trim edges are finished in yellow glaze extending to the fabulously formed scrolled handles.
The interior embellished with an armorial crest positioned above lavishly embellished, polychromatic botanical motif.
Marked PB underfoot in underglaze blue.

Condition Report: There is glaze chipping to the trim edges with spots and loss of finish to the handles and a small manufacturing split / fracture near the trim edge abutting one handle. Crazing to the finish can also be seen.
Despite some wear commensurate with age and handling the serving platter presents fabulously.
