John Stobart (British, 1929-2003) "Cincinnati: A view from the Kentucky Hills in 1858" lithograph depicting a curving river around a cityside landing beneath a lush green hill. The calm, pale blue water is dotted with steam boats, with grassy fields seen in the foreground with a horse-drawn wagon. The river fades into the distance along with winding hills, seen under a bright blue sky with pink and purple clouds. Pencil signed and numbered 12/450 lower right, titled lower center. Fine print above the image reads "Published by Maritime Heritage Prints as a limited signed edition of 450 (35 remarqued) from the original painting. Print copyright 1997." Displayed behind glass with a white mat in a burled pattern frame.
Condition: Displays well with minor finish wear to frame.
