Item Description
A lovely collection of Quimper ceramics, including:
- A fine pair of polychrome finished, ceramic candlesticks. Standing on octagonal foot rising upwards to the baluster form column with octagonal nozzles. Decorative basket wear motif alternating with floral motifs throughout with a yellow and red finished nozzle.
Marked underfoot Henriot Quimper / France / 307.

- Together with a two handled, footed serving dish. The polychrome finished serving dish is circular in form and stands on a raised, circular form foot ring. The dish features two wonderfully moulded handles of openwork, scroll form with blue and orange hued glaze with ribbed texture. The dish itself with blue border bands flanking a stylized red repeating scroll motif. The interior dish with floral garland surrounding a delightful scene of a Breton man and woman in traditional attire seen facing one and another with flowers to either side and a landscape with a gate in the background.
Marked Henriot Quimper to the central scene below the figures.

Condition: Good overall, some wear and minor losses to the glazed finish. One of the handles of the two handled serving dish appears to point lower than the other handle which is likely original to firing.
Despite wear the trio of items all present nicely.
