Set of 2 Porquier-Beau & Hubaudière Quimper armorial ceramic serving dishes, circa 1875-1903.
Both serving dishes are fabulously decorated. One is a two handled octagonal formed ceramic serving dish with foliate and armorial embellished polychromatic border. The interior decorated with a figural landscape depicting Breton villagers watching a passing train in the distance.
The second of squared form with scalloped border. Decorated with a floral and armorial border, with a central scene depicting Breton villagers standing just on shore with a body of water in the background.
The two handled serving dish marked underfoot PB Guengat, while the squared form dish marked HB QUIMPER underfoot.

Condition: The larger, two handled serving dish with some glaze chipping and a chip to rim and sticker residue underfoot. Some crazing to and areas of wear to the yellow trim with nics and surface wear commensurate of age and handling.
